Meet the Teacher...

Hey, there!

I received my teaching degree from Michigan, in Elementary Education with an emphasis in social sciences and certified to teach K-8. This license transferred in Tennessee to being certified to teach grades 1-8 and specializing in grades 6-8. I have also received a Masters in Science in Elementary Education.  I love Bartlett Elementary so much that this is my 28th year teaching in the fifth grade at this same school. I am married and have two children, a daughter, Allie, and a son, Grant. My son just graduated from college and was married last May to a girl also named Allie. ❤  I love cats, coffee, and dark chocolate! I look forward to this new year and the learning experiences it opens up for myself and my new fifth graders that I have the privilege to teach.
