City Saver Fundraiser - Books Returned or Payment Due by Friday, August 31st

Bartlett Elementary School needs your support! We are kicking off our 2018-2019 fundraising season by selling the popular Memphis City Saver coupon book with their companion iPhone & Android App for DOUBLE SAVINGS! One sample book will be sent home. Additional books will be delivered upon payment.

Last year, we raised over $15,000 with this fundraiser to help us provide promethean boards and iPads which benefits all of our students!

We know that with your help, we can reach our goal of $15,000 again this year. We are asking each family to BUY ONE and SELL ONE, that’s it.
The book sells for $25 and our school will make 50% for every book sold!

• Please turn your orders and checks in daily. Please do not wait until the last day to turn in orders!
• Checks should be made payable to BES PTO.
• Sale runs through Friday, August 31, 2018.

IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO PURCHASE THE CITY SAVER BOOK, PLEASE RETURN IT IN THE ORIGINAL ENVELOPE WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME ON IT ASAP.

Thank you for supporting Bartlett Elementary School!

Join BCS at the St. Jude Run/Walk to End Childhood Cancer Sept. 22nd

Dear BES family – I just wanted to let you know about a wonderful opportunity we have to help the children at St Jude. Our school district is trying to raise $10,000 before September 22.
Here are some ways you can help us meet our goal.
There is a website http://walkrun.stjude.org/B4thekids2018 that you can go to with information about a 5k race on September 22. You can sign up and register for the race and or donate. Just be sure you register and join the BARTLETT CITY SCHOOLS TEAM.
Our students will be given an opportunity to donate on August 22, 23 or 24. If your child brings in one dollar or more he or she will turn that money in to their classroom teacher. The teacher will then give them a GOLDEN ticket because GOLD is the color for childhood cancer. Your child will then, take that ticket to some ladies in the front hallway. They will give your child a St. Jude sticker, a piece of bubble gum and your child will be given a heart made of gold construction paper. Your child will write his or her name on the heart and that heart will go on a bulletin board in the front hall. Everyone who has a heart on the bulletin board will be a member of the Heart of Gold Team. This is a great opportunity to teach good lessons on helping others and in so doing, you are demonstrating that you have a heart of gold.
Thanks so much for supporting this great cause and I hope we have a bulletin board covered in Hearts of GOLD!!

By donating to St. Jude you are actively fighting against childhood cancer.

$3- pediatric isolation Mask
$25- rehab weights
$50-platelet transfusion
$75- 1 day of oxygen
$250-chemotheraphy treatment
$500 bone marrow treatment

Thanks for your support!! Coach Fowler
