I am looking forward to a great year with lots of learning! You will be amazed at all we will cover this year!  Please feel free to email me at any time with any concerns or questions you may have throughout the year at abigail.bobbitt@gmail.com.  Working together we can make this a fantastic year!

A Few Reminders:
Please clip and save boxtops4education. It is a great way to earn money for our classroom.
You may send boxtops to me anytime.

Breakfast ($1.50) and lunch ($2.75)
Every morning we have breakfast from 7:40-7:55.  If you want your child to eat breakfast please get them to school as early as possible so they are finished with breakfast by 8:00 and ready to start our day.

Accelerated Reader:
Want to see the AR level for a book? Want to find out if a book has an AR test?

Accelerated Reader is a computerized testing program that helps with you child’s’ reading comprehension.  Each student is required to take 10 tests with 80% or higher accuracy for the first 9 weeks.  After that I am requiring them to get 10 points per 9 weeks.

Red Ribbon Week 11/3/14

Studies show that young people who learn to say "NO" to drugs are less likely to be involved in crime, delinquency, and other destructive behaviors. We believe it is in every community's best interest to partner together for a drug free future. Participating in our Red Ribbon Week "theme days" is the perfect way to support our Little Panthers.

Monday, 11/3: Red Ribbon Week Kick-Off: Wear something red and your crazy, colorful socks.
Tuesday, 11/4: Team Up Against Drugs: Wear your favorite team shirt, jersey, or sports uniform.
Wednesday, 11/5: Exercise Your Right to a Drug Free Life: Wear school appropriate exercise clothes such as jogging pants, t-shirts, and tennis shoes. We will also have our annual basketball shoot-out in the gym.
Thursday, 11/4: Give Drugs the Boot: Western Day! Wear your favorite boots and western clothes, such as jeans, vests, & cowboy hats.
Friday, 11/7: Be a "Jean-ius; Be Drug Free" Wear your jeans and BES spirit shirt.
