About Ms. Wade
Welcome! I appreciate the opportunity to be your child's first grade teacher.
I am originally from Houston, Texas, and my family and I moved to Memphis in 1987. We moved in part because we are huge fans of Elvis Presley; no longer we had to take summer vacations to the Bluff City, we could head to Graceland whenever we want. I love all there is about Memphis: the music, the food, the sports, you name it. I always strive to learn, through reading about history and traveling with family. I have a son that graduated the University of Memphis in 2015 with a broadcast journalism BA degree.
Every year, my goals are that the students make wise decisions and be the best that they can be. I look forward to an "owl"-some year!
