LIBRARY PROCEDURES

Entering Class:

Stand in line quietly.

Listen and follow directions.

Grades 1-5 must have an AR folder, pencil, and paper.

 

During Class:

Read books or magazines quietly.

Listen and follow directions the first time given.

Work quietly.

 

Exiting Class:

Follow directions.

Clean up area.

Push in chair.

Line up quietly.

Wait for the teacher to dismiss you.

 

 

Expectations:

FOLLOW THE 3 R’S!

Be Respectful, Responsible, READy, at all times!

 

**YOU will be RESPECTFUL by:

Considering others.

Using kind words in a quiet voice.

 Using manners: please, thank you and excuse me.

 Sharing.

 Helping Others.

 

**YOU will be RESPONSIBLE by:

Giving your best effort.

Following directions the first time given.

Taking care of your personal belongings and cleaning up after yourself.

 

**YOU will be READY by:

Being prepared.

Keeping all body parts to yourself.

Use materials properly.

Walk at all times.

 

When in a line, I CAN:

Face forward.

Keep hands, feet, and objects to myself.

Consider others.

Use kind manners.

 

Books 

Students in grades 1-2 will be allowed to check out 1 book.  Students in grades 3-5 will be allowed to check out 2 books.
