Welcome to 1st Grade
Dear Parents,
This year will be a very exciting time for you and your family. 1st grade is filled with many 1sts!
I have one child, Torrey, who works for St. Jude/ALSAC in Nashville. I also have 2 furbabies, Madi and Sadi, who keep me busy at home! I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Memphis State University and my Master’s Degree from Arkansas State University.
I look forward to forming a partnership with you. This is going to be a fun and busy time! I know that this will be a great year for you and your child. I look forward to working with each of you.

I am Wendy Wayland. I have been teaching over 30 years in the local school systems. I have been lucky enough to teach grades K-3 over the course of my career. I have taught at Oak, Rivercrest, Bon Lin and Bartlett Elementary. I love being a Panther!
