Other important information:

Accelerated Reader:

Accelerated Reader is a computerized testing program that is used to help increase your child’s reading comprehension skills.  Students will be expected to read Accelerated Reader books and take tests weekly.  Each child should pass 10 AR tests each Nine Weeks with 85% accuracy.  Atleast one book should be a nonfiction selection.

Breakfast: 

7:40-7:55 each morning. Students will go straight to cafe upon entering school.  Breakfast must be finished and thrown away by 8:10.

Medication:

All medication (including over-the-counter products, like cough drops, chapstick and Tylenol) must be brought to and administered through the office.  Parents MUST bring in and fill out a form.

PTA:  Please join PTA.  It is $5.  I would love our class to be one of the first to 100%.  

Box Tops:  This is digital through the box top app.

Room Parents:  I am need of room parents that would be interested in planning our class parties.  I could also use parent volunteers for other things we need and do in the classroom. Please let me know if you are interested.
