Parent Resources for TNReady

The TN Department of Education has developed an updated Parent Guide to Being TNReady for the 2016-17 school year and a supplemental Guide on TNReady Supports for Students with Disabilities. We also have a one-page handout that explains the high level role of assessments and a new FAQ webpage that provides additional information for parents and teachers. BES Attitude of Excellence

It highlights three areas we show our BESt Attitude.
-Interdisciplinary Education with a Fine Arts Emphasis.
Fine Arts team members who are not only committed to high achievement in their own disciplines, but also collectively supportive of school-­‐wide academic
initiatives related to Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies,
and Technology.
-School-Wide Literacy. School-wide literacy program through the Library’s Accelerated Reader program and highly qualified teachers who are heavily committed in promoting reading through the support of AR and through best educational practices, which encourage student reading and comprehension.
-Parental and Community Involvement. Parental and community involvement that shares in the educational responsibilities with the school through fundraising, student programs, and events all designed to best meet the academic needs of our students.
