Read Across America/Dr. Seuss Week: February 26-March 2nd

We are looking forward to an amazing Dr. Seuss Week. There will be trivia questions from each day’s honored book, and we’ll show our school spirit by dressing up each day. If you have a copy of the honored book, bring it to class. The library will celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday by giving every student a free book to take home on their library day. We also have many local VIP’s coming to read with us on Thursday. Thanks for participating in our annual celebration of reading!!

Monday, February 26: Ten Apples Up on Top: Wear your favorite apple color.
Tuesday, February 27: The Tooth Book: Wear white…or…dress as a dental employee.
Wednesday, February 28: Wacky Wednesday: Wear your “tastefully” wacky clothes.
Thursday, March 1: What Pet Should I Get?: Wear your favorite pet colors….or….dress as
your favorite pet….or….bring your favorite pet stuffed animal.
*** We will have special guest readers visiting our classrooms on this day.
Friday, March 2: The Cat in the Hat: This is Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Dress in red and black,
and wear your cat hat! (Or dress like one of the characters from the book).
