Welcome to third grade!

Dear Parents,

    Hello!  My name is Denise Brooks, and I will be your child’s 3rd grade teacher this year at Bartlett Elementary.  

     I have over twenty five years of teaching experience, within the Memphis area. I am a native of Memphis, graduating from Raleigh Egypt High School.  I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education from The University of Memphis, and a Masters in Education from Cumberland University.  

    Each day I hope to bring a positive attitude and a determination into my class to instill a sense of work and achievement within each student.  I look forward to working with both you and your child.  We will have an exciting and productive year.  You will hear from me on a frequent basis because you are the most important person in your child’s life, and your involvement and support mean a great deal.
