Car Dismissal Changes for Thursday, August 7th

Parent of car riders:

First I want to say thank you for being so patient with us as we work toward finding the best way to load 300+ car riders, up from about 100 last year. Good news, we shaved off 25 minutes on our second day of loading. We will continue to work to improve loading time.

IMPORTANT: Due to voting on Thursday, August 7, we will have to move the car line to the U-shaped driveway just past where we’ve been loading the last few days. This is for the safety of the children, as there will be voters and campaigners entering and exiting the parking area.

There is a chance for rain on Thursday as well. Please make sure your child brings an umbrella or rain gear. Since there are so many students to load, we cannot load every car at the covered/awning area. If loading is quicker than we’ve done so far, we may permanently move to the loop, but for now please plan to pick up Friday in the parking as we’ve done Mon-Wed.

Again, thank you for your patience. You’ve been great.
