Help BCS Fight Childhood Cancer; Donate $1 to St. Jude; Fundraiser ends Sept. 27th

Bartlett City Schools has pledged to raise $10,000 for St. Jude.
Our goal is for each student to bring at least $1 for St. Jude.
Bring all money to Coach Courtney in the gym. Donate a dollar; get a piece of gum; add your name on a leaf to the tree in the front hall so we can " Fall in Love with St. Jude!" St. Jude also has a walk/ 5k run on September 28th. All registrations are done online; you can also
donate online. If you would like to run the race, you can click on
“Join Team” and select Bartlett City Schools to help raise funds on our behalf.

Please Join Our PTO! Membership Drive Sept. 9-20; $5 a member

Please join our PTO! Help your child's class earn a popsicle party! The class with the most memberships will win a Sonic Slush party! Your membership dues go straight back to the school, to support things like technology, PBIS parties, incentives, instructional aids, and so much more! anyone can join, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, community friends...and all your Little Panther's classes get credit! BCS Parent Workshop: Tools for Changing Behavior

Bartlett City Schools is hosting a series of parent workshops to discuss tools for changing behavior. The 4-week sessions will be at Rivercrest Elementary School starting on October 29, November 5, 12 & 19 from 5:30pm-7:00pm.

PTO General Meeting Tuesday, Sept 17th; Spirit Shirt Sale Opens @6pm

Our first general PTO Meeting in this Tuesday! In addition to our in-stock 2019 spirit items we’re pulling out our “vintage” t-shirts and they’ll be on sale 2 for $5.00! Our fabulous second graders are performing “Adventure Away!” and we’ll have a volunteer table with lots of opportunities to get involved - prizes included! See you Tuesday!

Golfers! BES Needs You! BEF 4 Man Golf Scramble Fundraiser Oct 4th

BES needs your help! We are looking for a team of 4 to represent us in the Bartlett Education Foundation's "4 Man Scramble" Golf Tournament.
BEF raises money to fund grants for all the BCS. This event is the largest fund raiser for the BEF Grant Program. The past golf event generated the largest number of grants ever given out to the teachers of the Bartlett School System. Our hope is to repeat. With your help, we can!

The tournament is right at 7 weeks away. Please grab your spot now.
Date: October 4, 2019
Place: Quail Ridge Golf Course
Tee Time: 8:00 AM
Currently, a team cost $600 on the Early Bird Special. Team price Goes UP,
September 14, 2019 to $800.

Reward status is the top distinction a school can earn in Tennessee. Reward schools are those that are improving overall student academic achievement and student growth for all students and for student groups, and they are identified annually.

City Saver Fundraiser 2019-20

Bartlett Elementary School needs your support! We are kicking off our 2019-2020 fundraising season by selling the popular Memphis City Saver coupon book with their companion iPhone & Android App for DOUBLE SAVINGS! We are sending one sample book home today. Additional books will be delivered upon payment.
Last year, we raised over $15,000 with this fundraiser! This year we are raising money for technology, classroom instructional aids, student incentives, and more which will benefit all of our students!
We know that with your help, we can reach our goal of $15,000 again this year. We are asking each family to BUY ONE and SELL ONE—that’s it. If everyone participates we will be easily fully funded!
The book sells for $25 and our school will make 50% for every book sold!
• Please turn your orders and checks in daily. Please do not wait until the last day to turn in orders!
• Checks should be made payable to BES PTO.
• Sale runs through Tuesday, September 3, 2019.
