The National Junior Beta Club is sponsoring a Pizza dinner on Tuesday, October 22nd. Enjoy Open House, the Book Fair, and
Dinner all at the same place!

"Go Jim Go" Funraiser for LeBonheur Hospital; Kick Off Friday, September 20th

Jim Jaggers from News Channel 3 will be at Bartlett
Elementary on Friday, September 20th to help kick off
the 14th annual fundraiser for LeBonheur Children’s
Hospital. Wear your bike helmet and attire to show
your Panther spirit!! We will collect money during the
week of Monday, Sept. 23rd – Friday, Sept. 27th.
Any donation = Piece of gum
$5.00 = Homework Pass
$10.00 = Bracelet and name on a bike to
hang in the hall
$15.00 = Participation in the soaker challenge to spray ALL THREE

Fire Prevention Poster Contest: "Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape." Posters due by Sept. 27th

This year’s theme for Fire Prevention Week and the Fire Prevention Poster Contest is “Not every hero wears a cape. Plan and Practice your Escape.” According to the National Fire Protection Association you have as little as one to two minutes to escape a house fire. Having an escape plan and practicing emergency exit drills can be the difference between life and death in an emergency. Visit for more info and poster ideas. Help BCS Fight Childhood Cancer; Donate $1 to St. Jude; Fundraiser ends Sept. 27th

Bartlett City Schools has pledged to raise $10,000 for St. Jude.
Our goal is for each student to bring at least $1 for St. Jude.
Bring all money to Coach Courtney in the gym. Donate a dollar; get a piece of gum; add your name on a leaf to the tree in the front hall so we can " Fall in Love with St. Jude!" St. Jude also has a walk/ 5k run on September 28th. All registrations are done online; you can also
donate online. If you would like to run the race, you can click on
“Join Team” and select Bartlett City Schools to help raise funds on our behalf.

BCS Parent Workshop: Tools for Changing Behavior

Bartlett City Schools is hosting a series of parent workshops to discuss tools for changing behavior. The 4-week sessions will be at Rivercrest Elementary School starting on October 29, November 5, 12 & 19 from 5:30pm-7:00pm.

PTO General Meeting Tuesday, Sept 17th; Spirit Shirt Sale Opens @6pm

Our first general PTO Meeting in this Tuesday! In addition to our in-stock 2019 spirit items we’re pulling out our “vintage” t-shirts and they’ll be on sale 2 for $5.00! Our fabulous second graders are performing “Adventure Away!” and we’ll have a volunteer table with lots of opportunities to get involved - prizes included! See you Tuesday!
