This begins my 37th year of teaching, my 27th year here at Bartlett Elementary, and my 12th year in 2nd grade.
I received my degree in education from the University of Memphis. I've been a Tiger basketball fan since the late '70's. Gooooo Tigers!
I am crazy about Mexican food, Diet Mountain Dew, and dark chocolate.
My hobbies include gardening, reading, and going to the beach.
My favorite spot is Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, AL...however, any beach makes me happy!
I love to cook, but I hate cleaning up afterwards.
I have 3 spoiled rotten cats, Scully, Sadie, and Smudge and three equally spoiled rotten, wonderful nephews.
Going to the movies is something I really enjoy. I'm partial to anything with aliens, space, superheroes, and of course all things Marvel & Disney.
It is a privilege to be your child's teacher, and I am so excited about our year together.
